The reverse design depicts a lobster, one of Jersey's main industries, and the obverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Struck in 92.5% silver by York Stampings Ltd of Birmingham, weighs 27.1grams

JERSEY 1972 £2.00 coin, 36mm in diameter, struck to commemorate the Silver Wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, 1947 to 1972. The superb reverse design depicts the sailing vessel Alexandra, built in Jersey in 1865, under full sail. The obverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
